Additional Costs on a Holiday to be Aware Of
A holiday is usually an expensive trip and often people will have to save for months or even years before being able to afford to go away. When searching for holidays you need to consider what your budget is and what type of holiday you want. Usually, the cheapest holidays are self-catering where you don’t have any meals or drinks included, but these types of holidays often also come with added extras that you need to pay for.
Many camping sites, for example, will also charge you to use the facilities on site if such as swimming pools and clubhouses. These are usually accessed by buying an entertainment pass which can easily be ten pounds or so each person. For a family of four or five, this can quickly add a huge chunk on to your holiday cost. Some places also charge a fee for towels and bedding which again pushes the price up. Always be sure to check exactly what is included in your package and if you are in doubt, call up to confirm if everything is included or you are expected to pay additional.
