Booking Your Summer Holiday
So the time has come to book your next holiday. You may have left it late and be booking for this summer or you may be booking well in advance for the next year ahead. You need to think about how you are going to book your holiday. If you are going abroad you may use a travel agent. You can use a local company or one of the larger firms such as Thompson or Thomas Cook. If you want to save a bit of money then you may need to shop around in the travel agents and online to get the best price for your holiday.
You may not know exactly where you want to go before you go to the travel agent and tell them your budget and times you can go away they will be able to give you an idea of locations that may be suitable for you.
When booking online be sure to check that the holiday price quoted includes everything that you need it to such as flights, baggage allowance and also transfers to and from the airport. As adding these on afterwards can very quickly increase the price of the trip.
Flying from some airports is cheaper than other, so if you have more than one local airport or don’t mind travelling, be sure to check the prices of other airport flights before booking.
